My friend, who is also vegan, has sent an email explaining how to get round having coffee when the ‘host’ doesn’t necessarily know you’re vegan or hasn’t catered for you with soya milk. Instead of having black coffee, which is what I’ve done until now, you can carry your own sachet of whitener. Here’s what he wrote. 🙂

These sachets which I carry round are very useful when I am with clients and need to whiten coffee or tea. they can be got at most JEWISH grocery shops – unfortunately the brand name is in hebrew. The shop that I go to is on junction of edgewarebury lane and edgewarebury gardens in Edgware .

Does this store still sell them (dairy free whitner in sachets) I have looked in quite a few stores recently and can not find anyone stocking them
Also if not do you know anywhere selling same or simmilar (I live in Hendon)
Many thanks in advance

Sorry Gerrard I’m not sure where you could find them.
Try a health food store perhaps?
Or as the my friend advises, Jewish stores?
