I think today was the first day that I’d wished for the death of so many animals. So many souls. 🙁

What’s worse, is I can imagine being willing to do it myself!

Why?

Have a look at this video.

It’s not easy to kill an animal even if it is to put it out of it’s misery.

    You’re right : )
    I get that.
Also, I guess who am I to decide the level of misery that particular soul can handle!

I thought you were vegan. I would have thought you were wishing for everyone to go vegan.

I don’t quite see the connection between what I posted and your reply.

My response is more about; although I may want to put those who are tortured out of their misery, it doesn’t mean that THAT animal/soul wants to be killed.
How can I judge what he/she can or can’t handle?

Does any of this make it OK to breed them and eat them?

Heena Modi · November 19, 2012 at 2:06 pm

Hmmm.
I don’t think it’s ever OK to breed animals in order to eat them.
We’ll agree to disagree.
Re the scaremongering around following a plant based diet, I think there are many parties who have a vested interest in the dairy industry and meat production which it is very closely linked to.
I have been vegan since April 2008 and no problems connected to this change. 🙂
