My aunt shared this with me once. I think, depending on your own experiences and current state of mind, parts of the poem will enthuse you, annoy you and enlighten you. Each time I read it, a different part ‘jumps out’ at me. What do you think of it?
Memories fade and affections cool,
Always remember the days passed at school.
In the dark distinct future,
Be a polite girl.
For politeness in the charm,
Nobody can steal,
Nobody can harm.
Life is a problem,
Solve it patiently.
Life in an ice cream.
